Bloomberg reported that Oracle Corp. (NYSE: ORCL) may offer more than $5 billion to purchase Micros Systems (Nasdaq: MCRS). Shares of Oracle edged up 17 cents to close at $42.32 while Micros stock leaped $8.62 to close at $66.33.
