Trex Co. Inc. (NYSE: TREX) reported higher second quarter earnings of 46 cents per diluted share compared with 38 cents per diluted share a year earlier that topped analyst estimates and forecast current quarter revenue ahead of expectations. Shares of the wood-alternative decking and railing products maker leaped $4.33 to close at $33.00.
