Bank of Napa Announces Earthquake Relief Fund

The Bank of Napa, N.A., has announced the establishment of the Bank of Napa Earthquake Relief Fund, with proceeds benefitting local recovery and reconstruction efforts from Sunday’s 6.1 magnitude earthquake, centered in Napa County.

Donations will benefit the Napa Valley Community Disaster Relief Fund of Napa Valley Community Foundation (NVCF). NVCF strives to improve the quality of life for residents in Napa County by connecting donors to projects that make an impact in the Napa community. A recognized 501(c)(3) organization, NVCF is identifying specific needs for funds to aid in efforts of disaster relief from the South Napa Earthquake, and will provide assistance to Napa County residents, businesses and nonprofits.

“Donations have already begun to come in, thanks to our customers, vendors and friends of the Bank,” Bank of Napa President & CEO, Tom LeMasters said. “The immediate outpouring of generosity is exactly what makes living in this community so special. The Bank of Napa is proud to be a part of the recovery effort and help our neighbors get back on their feet.”

The earthquake caused extensive damage to homes and local businesses in Napa County, many of which have been deemed uninhabitable by officials.
