Kieselstein-Cord Book Redux II

By: PRLog
PRLog - Sep. 8, 2014 - NEW YORK -- Barry Kieselstein-Cord announced today that due to the overwhelmingly positive feedback from his limited edition photography book, Awarded (published in 2012, edited by Nancy Hall-Duncan and first announced by Women's Wear Daily), he is now in the process of producing a second, more extensive publication, which will include the continued story of "Plastic Dreams" and updated geopolitical photographic commentaries through the artist's eye.

Publication date is expected to be early spring 2015 by Hudson House.

His first book covered dream sequences, international locations, people, sites, and indelible images ranging from the beginning of his art and design career through the present. Pastoral scenery is intermixed with the jungles of New York during the crack days of the bad city; bucolic vistas of the Austrian mountains are juxtaposed with graphic imagery of machine parts. He challenges popular opinion with his own political statements through his photography: where we are, where we might go, and what we need through the eyes of an artist.
