US STOCKS-Futures drop, chipmakers weigh on Nasdaq

NEW YORK, Oct 10 (Reuters) - U.S. stock index futures fell on Friday, with the decline particularly pronounced in the tech-heavy Nasdaq index, which was weighed by weakness in chipmakers.
