Pamplin Historical Park to Host Halloween-Themed Tours

Does the sound of Civil War cannon fire still echo in the night? Pamplin Historical Park founder and owner Dr. Robert B. Pamplin Jr. invites you to find out at the park’s Halloween-themed event, “Voices From the Shadows: A Walk Through Hallowed Ground.”

Costumed guides will lead participants by candlelight on a spine-chilling tour of the Civil War’s Breakthrough Battlefield and Tudor Hall plantation, allowing guests to walk in the footsteps of those who once lived, worked, fought and died at this historic site.

“The true stories of the Civil War era, presented in the naturally haunting atmosphere of Pamplin Historical Park, will allow visitors to gain a deeper understanding of the emotions that the men and women of that time experienced,” said Pamplin. “This is a unique opportunity to form a stronger, more personal connection to the past.”
