Los Angeles, CA, January 8 2015 There is a new leading edge fashion icon, it is Tito el Bambino, voted 2011 Songwriter of the Year by the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, has been spotted sporting a new look both around town and onstage.
Tito, who also won the ASCAP 2010 Latin Song of the Year Award for his #1 hit, “El Amor”, has always been known for his fashion flair, but his adoption of bold, colorful styles from Los Angeles based design house Michael and David helps cement his reputation as a celebrity fashion crusader.
Tito, born Efrain David Fines Nevares, first came to note as Tito of the Puerto Rican duo Hector & Tito. Hector y Tito started playing together in 1996 and released their first album together in 1998. Within a few years, they became the most recognized performers on the reggaeton circuit, and became the first reggaeton singers to sell out major concert venues in Puerto Rico. Their accomplishment paved the way for other reggaeton artists, including such names as Tego Calderon and Daddy Yankee. The duo went their separate ways, and in 2004-2006, Tito el Bambino rode the crest of his #1 album, “Top of the Line”. Since then, Tito has released a string of best-selling albums, including “It’s My Time”, “El Patron”, “Invencible”, “Invicto” and “Alta Jerarquia”.
