Celgene Corp. (Nasdaq: CELG) offered a premium of approximately $7.2 billion in cash to buy Receptos Inc. (Nasdaq: RCPT). Shares of Celgene leaped $9.92 to $132.77 while Receptos stock leaped $22.45 to $229.56.
