Award winning Sydney Jewellery, Varoujan, have today announced a new 1.00 carat oval cut diamond ring called ‘The Ovale’ as part of their 2015 collection. Set in a platinum ring with four claws to show off the elegance of the oval shape diamond, this simple variation of the classic solitaire will never go out of fashion.
The showcase engagement ring featured a 1.00 carat D colour VS1 quality diamond which can be set with any diamond size and quality. It include options such as choice of ring metal type from gold to white gold and platinum. For those with a bigger budget, a pink oval diamond can be used to really dazzle the eyes. Alternatively, the Ovale ring can be set with precious gemstones such as sapphire, emerald, ruby or pink sapphire.

Varoujan, who is the master designer and diamond setter of this ring said “People still love the round brilliant solitaire settings, but the traditional stone is now being replaced by other interesting shapes such as the oval cut”.
Varoujan then explained “we can set any diamond size and quality to fit the budget of our client. We have set diamonds of size ranging from 0.5 carat to 2.5 carat but the most popular size is the 1.0 carat”.
The ring is available for immediate sale and can be made to size usually within five days. Clients are advised to ring ahead and book an appointment.
