UPDATE 1-Nigeria overnight rate falls to 3-month low, locals buy bonds

LAGOS, Oct 2 (Reuters) - Nigeria's overnight lending rates halved to 3 percent on Friday to a three-month low after the central bank injected liquidity into the banking system by paying off treasury bills, traders said.
