A two-player game that combines the elements of battle cards, tactical board games & chess… don’t let the age of the designer fool you… this game is really good!COSTA MESA, California – November 19, 2015 – Andromeda Fight League, a new, incredible tabletop game, was recently announced. Andromeda Fight League or AFL is a two player expandable game, with a four-player variant, that takes the best elements of battle card games, tactical board games, and chess, and then adds the concept of team drafting and management similar to Fantasy Sports. The random elements built into AFL expand its replay ability and the Draft, Setup and Battle phases add to the depth of the AFL experience. The rules are straightforward and easy to learn, but the gameplay is deep. The game was designed and created by fourteen-year-old Noah Massaro. AFL originally started as a school project, but after much successful play-testing and refining, Noah and his father Tony concluded that AFL was a marketable game.
Starting in September of 2014, Noah and his new game company Mars Hill Studio Games, printed two small prototype runs to demo out in “the real world.” Since then, he has run demos at seven game cons in Southern California, including San Diego Comic Con, this past July. The response has been excellent, and the two prototype print runs are almost sold out. After a full year of doing hundreds of demos and meticulously refining the game, as well as writing and publishing a graphic novel that tells the story of how the Andromeda Fight League came to be, Noah is now ready to take the game to a wider audience. However, before everyone can enjoy this extraordinary, new game, Noah needs help. That’s why he launched this Kickstarter campaign. The goal of this project is to raise $10,000 by December 15, 2015. The funds raised will go towards the initial print run, convention costs, and social media advertising.
