NCTA A CEO Conversation 2008 Provides Brain Fuel for Attendees

The North Carolina Technology Association (NCTA), the primary voice of the technology industry in North Carolina, plans to make A CEO Conversation 2008 one of the most successful to date. The event will be held Thursday, April 24 from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Sheraton Imperial in Durham.

Program highlights will include the communitys introduction to Jim Whitehurst, president and CEO of Red Hat, Inc., who will give his observations on the global demand for high value open source solutions. The Honorable Perrin Beatty, president and CEO for the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, will offer thoughts on border issues and trade relations between the U.S. and Canada; guests will also hear from Bob Greenberg, general manager, IT Optimization and Service Management & Senior State Executive for North Carolina, IBMthe largest IBM campus in the world. Dr. Chris Kuehl, managing director and co-founder of Armada Corporate Intelligence, will focus on economic issues that have dominated the financial press for the last several months in his speech aptly titled Feeling CorneredAfter all it IS the Year of the Rat.
