Physicians Adult Daycare, Inc. (Pink Sheets:PHYA), on behalf of its shareholders, provides the following updates pertaining to its re-organization activities.
Progress continues on company funding, which will allow the Company to make acquisitions shortly. The Company is currently in negotiations with several investment groups that have expressed a desire to invest in the business. Details will be provided over the next few weeks as agreements are finalized.
CEO, Duane Starkey, stated, “In the interest of our shareholders and in order to put the company back on track following events of early 2007, last year I once again resumed the reigns of our organization. The new financing opportunities now available to us, multiple acquisitions open to our pursuit and our current means to upgrade our tier on the Pink Sheets, I believe, testify to my stewardship.
“Now that the company is moving in the right direction, I plan to step down as CEO in the near future. Succession plans are already underway to help assure the company’s future for our shareholders, investors and employees as well as our clients and their families who enjoy our services. In addition, I will continue to serve as consultant and spokesman for the Company under a five year Service Agreement.”
The Company is in the process of vetting candidates to replace Mr. Starkey and elect additional directors to its board. Details are expected to be announced in the next several weeks.
