In January, internet users viewed 9.8 billion videos online, and more than 139 million US internet users spent an average of 206 minutes viewing online videos (comScore). Unless properly managed, bandwidth-intensive applications could strain the internet's capacity and prevent the emergence of exciting new applications dependent upon broadband adoption. |
