Cswitch™ Corporation, a 2008 Red Herring 100 North America award winner, is announcing the immediate availability of the Andara development tool suite, supporting their CS90 Configurable Switch Array device family. The tool suite provides a familiar HDL-based design flow that allows engineers to quickly take full advantage of the architectural innovation offered by the CS90 family.
“When we developed the Configurable Switch Array architecture, we made sure that a typical HDL-based design flow could be used to implement a design,” said Doug Laird, Cswitch President and CEO. “Part of our value proposition is faster time to market, which required that we come up with a well know design methodology,” added Laird.
Cswitch developed the Andara tool suite in partnership with Magma Design Automation. Magma provides the ASIC-class synthesis, mapping, and timing analyses technology that makes the Andara tool flow work efficiently. Magma’s proven technology is the basis for a robust design flow.
“The choice to partner with a world-class EDA company such as Magma was obvious,” continued Laird. “The partnership has enabled us to provide a robust HDL-based design flow from day one.”

The Andara development tool suite can be licensed on an annual or monthly basis. Licenses start at $3,215.
