Honomichl chose the top 50 market research companies based on their 2007 revenues. Compete, listed at number 43 in 2008 reported US revenues of $14.9 million, up more than 50% over 2006. The company’s rapid growth, which has been nearly 1,000 percent over the past five years, is driven by marketers’ need for online data about their customers and competitors’ engagement, loyalty and online and offline sales.
