arvato mobile cooperates with Media Layers to start mobile video advertising

arvato mobile, the subsidiary of the international media and communication services provider arvato, a corporate division of Bertelsmann, has added the function mobile video advertising to its mobile ad server ad flex. For this purpose, the Hamburg company has concluded an agreement with the Israeli technology company Media Layers. Starting immediately, arvato mobile is offering advertisers the ability to integrate advertising in mobile moving picture formats, such as mobile videos. arvato mobile will deliver mobile video ads via its established mobile ad server ad flex. The advertiser can determine when, how long, and at what position in the mobile video the advertising spot is to run with down-to-the-second precision and for specific target groups. The usual method is to insert advertisements before or after the actual video content (pre-roll / post-roll) or as overlays, in which the advertising video partially overlays the actual video. It is also possible to implement split screens. The new video advertising service will be powered by Media Layers' SMART solution.

The mobile ad server ad flex from arvato mobile has already been used for Vodafone live! and on the mobile portals of the premium brands BRIGITTE.de Mobile, BYM.de Mobile, ESSEN&TRINKEN Mobile, BÖRSE ONLINE Mobile, Capital Mobile, GALA.de Mobile, DOGS Mobile, and stern.de Mobile.
