LexisNexis and Electronic Legal Software Launch Native File Review for Concordance

LexisNexis, a leading global provider of content-enabled workflow solutions, announced the release of EL Native Review for Concordance, a new native file review capability for customers using Concordance® software version 9 or higher. Concordance makes it easy for litigation professionals to identify, organize and analyze case-critical information for electronic discovery, litigation document management, and litigation support.

EL Native Review for Concordance is being released in alliance with Electronic Legal Software, LLC – an independent software consultancy and development firm based in Denver, Colorado. The new platform enables users to find and review files in their native formats such as .doc, .xls, .msg, .ppt, .dwg, .pdf, and .html without needing to install the associated software. This in turn streamlines the document review process with a more user-friendly and efficient approach.

EL Native Review for Concordance automatically displays reference documents in their original file format in its file viewer and allows users to configure shortcut keys to improve the document tagging process. This significantly decreases the amount of time typically needed for a review of native files so the process can be completed three to four times faster.

Because Concordance is integrated with the suite of case assessment and analysis software through LexisNexis® including CaseMap®, TimeMap and TextMap, EL Native Review for Concordance also provides a quick and easy workflow for importing and exporting native files between solutions for more effective case strategy planning.

“We are excited about the release of EL Native Review for our Concordance product,” said Craig Bennett, vice president of Litigation Solutions at LexisNexis. “We work continuously to identify, develop and integrate litigation workflow solutions that improve efficiency and streamline costs because this ultimately means increased productivity for our clients.”

The alliance between LexisNexis and Electronic Legal Software, LLC was formed in response to the growing market trend of more frequent native document reviews of substantial size. EL Native Review for Concordance enables Concordance customers to implement a more efficient and cost-effective review process with their existing Concordance document review databases.
