ConJoin Group, LLC, an investment and management consulting firm specializing in helping private equity and venture capital firms transform underperforming assets, today announced that it has appointed two seasoned sales executives to lead business development in North America.

Gary O’Neal, who will be based in Silicon Valley, will lead the effort as Managing Director of Business Development, North America. He will focus on developing relationships with venture capital and private equity firms across the U.S. Mark Luciw, who will be based in Atlanta, will report directly to Mr. O’Neal as Director, Business Development, focusing on the Midwest and Southern regions of the U.S.

Mr. O’Neal comes to ConJoin Group with extensive sales management and business development experience. In his most recent position as Vice President of Global Alliances for Wipro, he managed the sales, operations and delivery of all Microsoft technologies, a nearly $500 million business. In addition, he founded Wipro’s “MSBU”, an application development business, which became one of the fastest growth engines in the company and rapidly expanded under his leadership. He also led the North American sales arm of three major horizontal practices.

Previously, he spent 8 years at GE Capital in San Francisco where he was General Manager and leader of the SF Bay Area and Northern California operations, the largest operation in the country for GE Capital, IT Solutions.

“Gary’s deep experience and proven ability to build alliances and sales at Wipro make him the ideal candidate for us to develop long-term relationships with venture capital and private equity firms in the Silicon Valley,” said Richard S. Garnick, Chairman & CEO, ConJoin Group. “He is a highly talented executive, and is very well suited to lead our business development efforts. We welcome him to the team and look forward to his many contributions.”

Mr. Luciw brings more than 25 years of sales and sales management experience to The ConJoin Group. Throughout his career, he has held several managerial positions at leading IT Solution Providers and Services Companies including Mercury Interactive, Intersolv/Merant Testing, Y2K Transformation Business, Rogue Wave Software, Worksoft and Asurity Solutions. He has successfully built sales teams with mid-cap companies as well as start-ups, where he has quickly ramped up sales to more than $400 million. Mr. Luciw has strong subject matter knowledge in business development matters including direct sales, OEM, marketing, channel business and distribution models, as well as a proven ability to help companies develop and redefine their value proposition, and grow their business.

“Mark is a seasoned executive with significant experience working with C-level executives at Fortune 1000 companies and he has a proven track record in client management and sales,” said Mr. Garnick. “He will be a key driver of growth at ConJoin, and it is my pleasure to welcome him to the team.”

About ConJoin Group, LLC

ConJoin Group, LLC helps companies transform “stranded assets” to realize demonstrable and accelerating value. The ConJoin model is based on improving a business’s overall performance in an accelerated way by facilitating a true transformation of the business, utilizing vision creation, transformational leadership and experienced interim management, along with cost optimization to make a rapid positive impact. This is a notable difference from earlier generations of BPO providers who were primarily focused on large-scale replacement of repetitive tasks with limited value-add beyond cost reduction. ConJoin serves markets not generally supported by existing global outsourcers, especially mid-market corporations considered too small by these global players.
