By: KinderCare via Business Wire
April 15, 2025 at 08:20 AM EDT

In honor of the National Month of the Military Child and National Month of the Military Family, military families can redeem free day of care before May 16

KinderCare Learning Companies, Inc. (NYSE: KLC) (“KinderCare”) the nation’s leading provider of high-quality early childhood education and care, announced today that KinderCare Learning Centers around the country will support military families with a free day of child care. This special offer is available from April 15 to May 16, 2025 for members serving any branch of the U.S. military.

"We’re proud to support and show our gratitude towards the families who serve our country through our free day for military families. The nuances of the military lifestyle impact families as much as individuals serving,” said Dr. Marquita Davis, Chief Academic Officer for KinderCare. "Military families face unique challenges when seeking reliable and consistent child care amidst frequent relocations and transitions.”

KinderCare has long supported military families through an ongoing partnership with Child Care Aware® of America, offering eligible active duty families child care tuition assistance at over 1,500 KinderCare Learning Centers. KinderCare’s nationwide network of centers means families have access to a consistent curriculum and learning experience, ensuring seamless transitions for military families during relocations.

KinderCare also offers a child care subsidy program to active-duty members of the United States Coast Guard, National Park Services, Customs and Border Protection, and General Services Administration employees who do not live or work near on-base care.

"Access to affordable off-base childcare for military families with young children is critical," said Francisco Jamison, Vice President of Military Programs and Executive Director of Respite Care of America. "Child Care Aware® of America knows that child care is a mission readiness factor and a force multiplier."

Military families looking for a free day of care at any KinderCare Learning Center across the country should visit KinderCare’s website and sign up online.
