Craig Coben served in various roles, including Vice Chairman of Global Capital Markets and global head of equity capital markets at Bank of America. He is an investment banking world-class expert with deep expertise in a full range of equity products, including IPOs, SPACs, block trades, accelerated bookbuilds, secondary offerings, rights issues, equity-linked offerings (convertible and exchangeable bonds), margin loans and corporate equity derivatives.

From 2005-2022 he worked as a Managing Director at Merrill Lynch and then Bank of America, holding several senior positions including Global Head of Equity Capital Markets, Head of EMEA Equity Capital Markets, and Co-Head Asia-Pacific Global Capital Markets. Prior to that, he worked for eight years at Deutsche Bank, rising to the level of Managing Director in its Equity Capital Markets division. He was previously a securities lawyer at Sullivan & Cromwell and a law clerk to Judge Douglas H. Ginsburg of the US Court of Appeals, District of Columbia Circuit.

Craig is a recognized and sought-after commentator on the financial industry, with numerous recent columns published in the Financial Times and guest appearances on CNBC and Bloomberg TV. Craig has also previously served as Chairman of the Equity Capital Markets Division of the Association for Financial Markets in Europe (AFME). He holds a BA from Yale University and a JD from Harvard Law School and speaks fluent Spanish, French and Italian.
