About the Author
John Basil was a prominent figure in the New York theater scene for over 40 years, serving as the artistic director of American Globe Theatre for 25 years and a professor at Marymount Manhattan College. A regional theater director and author of three books, Basil passed away in 2024. He was known for his love of his German Shepherds, gardening, carpentry, and travel, but above all, his wife, Liz Keefe. His passing in 2024 did not stop Liz from allowing his legacy to continue on.
