The two women-owned businesses are partnering to support those in the community experiencing divorce through an empowering scholarship fund.
Mobile, AL, March 4, 2025 — Empowered Family Law, PC, led by attorney Krissy McCulloch, is proud to announce the launch of the Empowered Scholarship, a new initiative designed to support individuals navigating the challenges of divorce. In partnership with Mission Fitness, a local, woman-owned fitness studio, Empowered Family Law is offering a 6-month fully funded scholarship to two deserving recipients.
Divorce can be one of the most difficult experiences a person will face. It often brings emotional, mental, and financial hardship, including the loss of income, friendships, and stability. Empowered Family Law understands the struggles that accompany life after separation, and this scholarship is designed to help individuals regain their strength and confidence, both mentally and physically.
The Empowered Scholarship offers recipients complimentary access to all of Mission Fitness’s services, and each scholarship is valued at $900 each. Services include unlimited in-studio and live-stream classes, access to an on-demand class library, open gym facilities, and the complimentary use of the kid’s playroom. Additionally, Mission Fitness offers a culture of care, inclusion, and empowerment, making it the perfect environment for individuals to build physical and mental resilience during a challenging time.
Krissy McCulloch, founder of Empowered Family Law, shared her vision for the scholarship: “The intention is to try to lift up our community together in a collaborative way to make a tough time a little bit less tough.”
To apply for the Empowered Scholarship, interested applicants are encouraged to share their personal story and explain how this membership could benefit them. Submissions are open now through March 5, with selected applicants being notified by March 15.
