iWallet Opens the Door to Licensing Partnerships with New Technology

WHITEFISH, MT / ACCESSWIRE / June 10, 2015 / iWallet Corporation (OTCQB: IWAL), a developer of secure luxury techcessories, recently announced the addition of BIO-BLU(TM) Biometric Bluetooth(R) Smart locking technology to its technology portfolio. Leveraging its robust patent portfolio, the new technology simplifies the authentication process for users by replacing difficult-to-remember passwords and PINs with a Bluetooth(R) enabled biometric fingerprint sensor.

"Apple's inclusion of finger-print reading technology on the iPhone 5S fueled widespread biometric adoption across the consumer market, and technologies like iWallet's BIO-BLU enable the next generation of biometric integrations," said Jack Chadsey, CEO of iWallet. "BIO-BLU's combination of secure pairing technology, local biometric verification and a personal device, lends itself to vast implementations and is fueling alliances with major luggage and bag manufacturers, as well as other joint venture licensing collaborations, to fast track the technology."

BIO-BLU utilizes an encrypted data connection to any Bluetooth(R) 4.0 compatible host, including smartphones, tablets, and computers, to add biometric fingerprint authentication. Management is focused on using the technology to bring to market products designed to protect credit cards, jewelry, prescription medications, and other valuables. The connection between smartphones and these Bluetooth(R) enabled devices forms the core of its newly launched technology division.

iWallet offers an existing assortment of biometric luxury secure techcessories, including the iWallet Slim, iWallet Classic, and its newly launched iPassport, which holds both a passport and credit cards. Unlike NXT-ID Inc.'s (NASDAQ: NXTD) Wocket(R), these products are designed to protect rather than replace existing credit cards, while the product line-up will be expanded in the future to protect many other kinds of valuables.

Investors in the biometrics industry, including micro-cap companies like Aware Inc. (NASDAQ: AWRE) and BIO-key International Inc. (OTC: BKYI), may want to take a closer look at iWallet given its new technology that opens the door for licensing applications.
