U.S. stock index futures point to flat open

* U.S. stock index futures pointed to a flat open on Monday, with futures for the S&P 500 up 0.04 percent, Dow Jones futures down 0.03 percent and Nasdaq 100 futures up 0.1 percent at 1027 GMT.
