In trading on Tuesday, the SPDR S&P Oil & Gas Exploration & Production ETF (XOP) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 1.3% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Laredo Petroleum (LPI), up about 5.1% and shares of Cobalt International Energy (CIE), up about 4.4% on the day.
