In trading on Wednesday, the SPDR S&P Oil & Gas Exploration & Production ETF (XOP) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 1.5% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of California Resources (CRC), up about 6.6% and shares of SM Energy (SM), up about 6.1% on the day.
