PR Log - Jun 05, 2012 - Renovations at the Anaheim Express Inn Maingate are nearing completion. The family friendly, budget hotel has been undergoing a major face lift to help improve the guest experience. Located at 620 W. Orangewood Avenue in Anaheim, California, the property is only a short walk to Disneyland.
Travelers planning a visit to the theme park or to the Anaheim area are strongly encouraged to make reservations in advance of the complete reopening of the new and improved lodging facility. Management is offering special rates to show off the sparkling new property. Rooms are still available for less than $70 per night.
Getting a fresh coat of paint was just the first step in the extensive renovation project. The property was looking a little old and tired so under the guidance of the Hotel Managers Group it was decided that it was time for a change. The decision was not just change for change's sake. It was change to improve the property.
There is a completely redesigned lobby that will welcome guests when they check in at the front desk. The dining area, where guests can get their day off to a good start with a free breakfast, has been updated and given a fresh, new appearance. All of the rooms have also been renovated to make them more comfortable and functional for the guests. The Anaheim Inn Maingate offers a nice pool, Jacuzzi hot tub and a very friendly staff.
Families coming to Disneyland can save some money and also be very close to the theme park. A highly publicized, new Disney attraction based on the hit movie "Cars" is scheduled to open on June 15, 2012. It showcases the fictional town of Radiator Springs and features an exciting car race in and around the town. The opening coincidentally happens to line-up with the Anaheim Express Inn Maingate's "opening." It is expected that area hotels will fill up fast during the summer vacation season.
Just a few blocks from the Anaheim Express Inn Maingate is the Anaheim Convention Center. It is another major draw for conventions, trade shows and special events. The facility always has something going on and this year is no exception. Look for the 1st Annual California Art Walk scheduled to take place on July 21, 2012. This will be the largest indoor art walk in Orange County and will feature the works of more than 100 artists.
