SOUTHFIELD, HOLT and TRAVERSE CITY, Mich., July 12 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- With the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living's (AHCA/NCAL) national "Driving for Quality Care" RV petition drive having worked its way up the Eastern Seaboard and into the American heartland after its successful launch in Washington, D.C. on June 29th, the RV will make its 12th, 13th and 14th stops in Michigan this week to urge federal lawmakers to join Governor Jennifer Granholm in supporting immediate passage of $710 million in emergency Medicaid relief -- now stalled in Washington.

The mission of "Driving for Quality Care" is to empower senior and citizen advocate alike with the opportunity to sign a national petition, write their local legislator, recruit supporters via social media, and follow the tour's progress from an interactive website, www.drivingforqualitycare.com.
