LIVERMORE, Calif., Nov. 3, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Tri-Valley based mortgage banker Landmark Mortgage Group, a division of Opes Advisors, hosted their 1st Annual Bocce Ball Tournament at Campo di Bocce's Livermore location. This by-invitation-only event was held on the restaurant's outdoor courts and was deemed as another smashing success in the long line of Landmark's private functions held to thank the company's closest partners.  

A total of 16 four-person teams competed in the single-elimination tournament vying for the four custom designed bocce ball trophies. The winning team consisted of Bay East Association of Realtors President-Elect Otto Catrina, California Association of Realtors Treasurer Don Faught, Bay East CEO Tricia Thomas and Landmark's Rick Benitez. The second place team was led by Landmark's mortgage advisor Margie Lupo.

Landmark's previous by-invitation-only event, A Day at the Races, featured an afternoon of food, drink and horse races at the Alameda County Fairgrounds' Trackside Terrace which was attended by nearly 100 industry partners of the company. This late-June event also served as the Grand Opening celebration for Landmark's Santa Cruz office, the third branch in the company's network.
