("AVRS") (OTCBB: AVOI) announced today that it has received a Notice of Allowance from the United States Patent and Trademark Office for AVRS's fourth patent for its speech recognition and transcription technology.
AVRS Patents
AVRS' primary patent (U.S. Patent No. 5,960,447 entitled "Word Tagging and Editing System for Speech Recognition") was granted in September 1999. AVRS' second patent (U.S. Patent No. 7,558,730 entitled "Speech Recognition and Transcription Among Users Having Heterogeneous Protocols") was granted in July 2009. AVRS's third patent (U.S. Patent No. 7,949,534 entitled "Speech Recognition and Transcription Among Users Having Heterogeneous Protocols") was granted May 24. 2011 and is an expansion of the coverage of AVRS's second patent and incorporates speech recognition and transcription among transcription engines employing incompatible protocols. AVRS's fourth patent prosecuted by Meyer & Associates, LLC is to be issued in the spring for digital voice recognition and transcription technology entitled "Speech Recognition and Transcription Among Users Having Heterogeneous Protocols". The patent is an expansion of the coverage of AVRS's second and third patents and incorporates speech recognition and transcription among transcription engines employing incompatible protocols for generating, transcribing, and exchanging speech among users employing incompatible protocols utilizing peer-to-peer networks, node-to-node networks, and the cloud.

Allvoice Litigation with Microsoft – New Developments
Allvoice sued Microsoft for patent infringement in federal court in the state of Washington (Case No. C10-2102 RAJ). Microsoft asked the Court to construe the disputed claim terms of the AllVoice 273 Patent, and a decision was made on December 21, 2011 to grant in part and deny in part the motion for summary judgment. Allvoice asked the Court to reconsider the December 21, 2011 decision. On January 23, 2012 the Court denied Allvoice's motion to reconsider.
