SEATTLE, April 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Seattle-based Nordstrom, Inc. (NYSE: JWN) announced today plans to open a Nordstrom Rack at Winrock Town Center in Albuquerque, N.M. The approximately 33,500-square-foot store is scheduled to open in fall 2015. The new Nordstrom Rack will be the company's first retail location in New Mexico.

Nordstrom Rack is the off-price retail division of Nordstrom, Inc., offering customers a wide selection of on-trend apparel, accessories and shoes at an everyday savings of 30-70 percent off regular prices. The Rack carries merchandise from Nordstrom stores and, as well as specially purchased items from many of the top brands sold at Nordstrom. The Rack is designed to provide the ultimate treasure hunt to style-savvy customers.
Winrock Town Center, located along Interstate 40, is central to all Albuquerque sectors and 50 minutes from Santa Fe. The 83-acre center is New Mexico's premier retail destination and gateway to Albuquerque's Uptown District. The new Nordstrom Rack will join a strong mix of retailers including Dillard's, Regal Cinema, Sports Authority, Bed Bath & Beyond, DSW, Dave & Busters and BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse. The property is being developed by Goodman Realty Group and is exclusively leased by Pegasus Retail.
