SCHOFIELD, Wis., June 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- PuraMed BioScience®, Inc., (OTCBB: PMBS), a researcher, developer, and marketer of over-the-counter (OTC) medicinal and healthcare products, announced today that in conjunction with Migraine Awareness month, the company sponsored the San Diego Operation Engage America event with Honoring Our Troops on Saturday, June 7, 2014. PuraMed provided samples of LipiGesic® M along with educational information for veterans, which was distributed at the Honoring Our Troops booth.

"There are so many veterans who suffer from both post traumatic-stress disorder (PTSD) and migraine, but they are unable to treat both conditions because of drug interactions. Operation Engage America (OEA) is a grassroots organization started by two families who were looking for answers when their sons, who served our country in Iraq and Afghanistan, lost their inner battles with PTSD and traumatic brain injuries (TBI).
Operation Engage America has partnered with the American Legion, VFW, IAVA, Paralyzed Veterans of America and the VA to bring awareness, support and help to those who suffer PTSD and TBI.
According to the organization's website, www.operation-engage-america.org, PTSD is not limited to service men and women, but can affect "…first responders, victims of domestic, child and sexual abuse, even some of those who've experienced natural disasters and automobile accidents…" In recognition of June being PTSD Awareness month, Operation Engage America, held the first of what it hopes are many events across the country to bring awareness, support, help, and healing to veterans and their families.
