Zebra Technologies Announces Expiration of U.S. Hart-Scott-Rodino Waiting Period for Acquisition of Enterprise Business of Motorola Solutions

LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill., July 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Zebra Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ: ZBRA), a global leader in products and services that provide real-time visibility into organizations' assets, people and transactions, today announced that the required waiting period under the U.S. Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976 has expired, with respect to Zebra's definitive agreement to acquire the Enterprise business (excluding iDEN) of Motorola Solutions, Inc. (NYSE: MSI). The acquisition is expected to close by the end of 2014, subject to customary closing conditions, including remaining regulatory approvals. In the meantime the companies are focused on completion of operational planning and activities to help ensure a successful transfer of the business in this carve-out transaction.
