New Mobile App for Health Administration Students

WASHINGTON, July 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Milken Institute School of Public Health at the George Washington University (Milken Institute SPH) announced the launch of the first of its kind mobile application for students enrolled in MHA@GW. The school's pioneering online Executive Master of Health Administration is the only master of health administration offering this mobile capability for both students and professors through a mobile app.

Available on iOS and Android, the mobile application allows MHA@GW students to view course materials and videos, network with professors and peers, and receive notifications for upcoming assignments or events from wherever they are.

The MHA@GW mobile app includes the following features to enhance the online learning experience:

  • Mobile offline mode: Students can download and watch course videos offline and access class materials with or without an Internet connection.
  • Network: Students can connect and interact with their fellow classmates and peers around the world through discussions, study sessions or social groups.
  • Notifications: Alerts inform students of upcoming live class sessions, assignment due dates or events so they can stay on top of their coursework.
  • Seamless notes: Content posted through the mobile app will seamlessly transfer to the web the next time a student logs into their desktop learning platform, allowing notes to sync effortlessly.

The iOS app can be found in the Apple iTunes Store (GWUMHA); the Android app is available in the Google Play Store (GWUMHA).
