Ogilvy Public Relations Appoints Jennifer Banovetz to SVP/Group Director of Brand Marketing

LOS ANGELES, July 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Ogilvy Public Relations (Ogilvy PR), an integrated global communications firm, today announced the appointment of Jennifer Banovetz to Senior Vice President, Brand Marketing Group Director, effective August 4. Based in Los Angeles, Banovetz will oversee the growth and strategic direction of the firm's work with major consumer accounts in the Western Region and link with the broader North American Brand Marketing Practice.

With more than 15 years' experience in integrated brand communications, Banovetz's appointment deepens Ogilvy PR West's capabilities in cross-disciplinary campaigns that incorporate marketing, advertising and social media. Banovetz's experience extends across multiple business sectors including travel, automotive, consumer packaged goods, digital lifestyle as well as health and fitness. Her portfolio of previous assignments includes leading brands such as Nestle, Dogswell, Lululemon, Movember, Volkswagen of America, and Infinite Hero Foundation.

Most recently, Banovetz was a senior vice president in the Consumer Brand Practice at Edelman Los Angeles. In addition to her leadership in consumer marketing at Edelman, she served as senior counsel in Los Angeles to the firm's Global Creative Initiative and led corporate responsibility initiatives for Mattel. Previously, Banovetz was in Edelman's Chicago office, where she managed brand-building programs for a range of Dove product lines.
