ARVA uses the award-winning K¹² curriculum to offer students in grades K-10 an exceptional learning experience. With support from Arkansas-certified teachers and an active school community, ARVA offers an individualized learning approach and provides students with the tools they need to succeed—both in school and beyond.
Students who enroll at ARVA follow an academic program that includes engaging, web-based lessons along with instructional materials – books, videos, CDs, and other hands-on tools and resources – which are shipped directly to each student's home. ARVA teachers provide instruction, guidance and support, and regularly interact with students and parents via email, web-based classrooms, online discussions, phone and face-to-face meetings. The school also organizes field trips and school activities where students have the opportunity to participate in events that blend academics and socialization.
ARVA provides courses in English/Language Arts, Math, Science, History, Music and Art and World Languages such as Spanish, French, and German. Students can also choose to participate in dozens of extracurricular activities that cover a wide variety of interests through K12.
