2U Offers Master's Degree Scholarships to Habitat for Humanity AmeriCorps Alumni Association Members

LANDOVER, Md. and ATLANTA, Aug. 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, 2U, Inc. (NASDAQ: TWOU), announced it has partnered with Habitat for Humanity to provide Habitat for Humanity AmeriCorps Alumni Association members with scholarships to four graduate school programs enabled by 2U.

This unique partnership helps make top-tier, graduate-level education more affordable to a large group of alumni of the global nonprofit housing organization. 2U will make scholarships of $10,000 available to eligible AmeriCorps Alumni Association members who have served with Habitat for Humanity through AmeriCorps. Scholarships are available for the following programs:

  • International Relations Online: Master of Arts (MA) in International Relations from American University's School of International Service
  • MPA@UNC: Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Government
  • MBA@UNC: Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Kenan-Flagler Business School
  • MPH@GW: Master of Public Health (MPH) from the Milken Institute School of Public Health at the George Washington University
