Greater Halifax Partnership President and CEO taking a medical leave

HALIFAX, Oct. 24, 2014  Greater Halifax Partnership's Board of Directors announced that Paul Kent, President and CEO, has requested a medical leave of absence and will be stepping down from the President and CEO position on December 31st, 2014.

It is with regret that the Board of The Greater Halifax Partnership has accepted the request for medical leave from Paul Kent.

An announcement respecting interim leadership will be made as soon as possible.

The Board is commencing a search process for a new President and CEO. The search committee will be chaired by Board Member Catherine Woodman and will focus on ensuring that the Partnership builds on Paul's leadership legacy and continues its critical progress in bringing stakeholders together to drive economic prosperity in Halifax.
