On November 3, 2014, The Coca-Cola Company (Coca-Cola) in association with (RED), a not-for-profit organization which engages businesses and people in the fight against AIDS, has launched a new campaign, titled "Share the Sound of An Aids Free Generation" to support the end of mother-to-child transmission of HIV. As per the Company, the Campaign will feature top artists debuting new music to encourage people to join the efforts for the said cause. The Campaign runs through World AIDS Day on December 1st, 2014 and funds generated will go to Global Fund to fight AIDS, and other severe diseases. Ford Motor Co. Research Reports
On November 3, 2014, Ford Motor Co. (Ford) reported its sales for the month of October 2014. During the month, Ford sold a total of 188,654 vehicles, down 1.7% YoY. According to the Company, Lincoln posted its best October sales results in seven years with total sales of 8,883 vehicles, up 24.6% YoY. Under the Ford brand, the Company sold 22,846 Ford Fusion vehicles, up 5.1 % YoY, marking its 6th consecutive month of record performance. Amongst the Ford Cars, 24,919 escape cars were sold, up 12.0% YoY, reflecting its best ever October performance. Ford Explorer posted record sales since 2004 with sales of 14,455 cars, up 6.4% YoY. In Ford Utilities segment, Ford Transit Connect sold 4,068 utilities, up 28.4% YoY, marking record October performance. Herbalife Ltd. Research Reports
On November 3, 2014, Herbalife Ltd. reported its Q3 2014 results. The worldwide net sales were posted as $1.3 billion, up 3.5% YoY. The Company reported adjusted diluted EPS of $1.45 which was lower than estimated $1.51 by analysts at Wall Street. Diluted EPS is projected to range from $1.30 to $1.40 in Q4 2014 and from $5.80 to $5.90 in full-year 2014. The Company also provided guidance for the year 2015, wherein it expects net sales to be in the range of 1.0% decline and 2.0% improvement over 2014. General Motors Company Research Reports
On November 3, 2014, General Motors Company (GM) reported sales results for October 2014. In the US, the Company has delivered 226,819 vehicles, marking its best October sales in seven years. The fleets' sales also increased by 6% YoY and the Company reported a 30% profit in commercial sales, driven by small cars, compact crossovers and large pickups. The Chevrolet Cruze brand observed a 51% YoY increase in its deliveries, driving the GM's compact car sales to its highest level since 2003. The Chevrolet Silverado delivered 46,966 units, up 10% YoY, marking its best October since 2007. Kurt McNeil, U.S. Vice President of Sales Operations, said, "We have a strong hand to play, with the industry's newest and most complete line-up of pickups and SUVs, class-leading crossovers like the Buick Encore and a wealth of new products in the pipeline."
