Drive Wheaton compares models between two of its dealerships

EDMONTON, Alberta, Nov. 25, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Drive Wheaton is an automotive group made up of multiple dealerships offering vehicles of all shapes and sizes from all different makes and models. Two of those dealerships are Wheaton Honda and Toyota on the Trail, which focus mainly on offering brand-new Honda and Toyota models respectively. The past few months the automotive group has been creating a wealth of resources for car shoppers on its website, and this week sees the addition of three new comparison pages, this time between its own brands.

Rather than attempting to show the benefits of purchasing one of the vehicles it offers over a segment competitor, Drive Wheaton's new research pages are dedicated to showing the advantages of both vehicles and showcasing how similar the vehicles of each brand are. For instance, the dealership's look into the 2015 Toyota Camry vs 2015 Honda Accord shows that both midsize sedans' specifications are nearly identical, but each have a unique feature like the Camry's wireless charging station that the other doesn't have.

The group then took a peek at the 2015 Toyota Corolla vs 2015 Honda Civic, two of the longest-running vehicles in the industry. While the specifications aren't quite as close to one another as the Camry and Accord, they are still extremely comparable and each has its own clear advantage. The Civic has more space and a slightly smaller price tag, but the Corolla has better fuel economy. Each vehicle also has its own unique button that sends it into a different drive mode, Toyota offering a sportier drive and Honda a more efficient one.

Lastly, Drive Wheaton looked at the 2014 Honda Ridgeline vs 2015 Toyota Tacoma. These are two small trucks fitting into two different segments, but they are extremely similar. The Ridgeline is designed more for the outdoor enthusiast, someone who might be carting around an ATV or four-wheeler. The truck's payload and towing capacity reflect this type of usage. The Tacoma on the other hand is more geared towards someone spending a lot of time on the job site, as evidenced by its more convenient interior.

All six of these vehicles can be found at Drive Wheaton dealerships, and questions about any of these models can be directed to their respective sales teams. Toyota on the Trail can be reached at 780-701-2222 and Wheaton Honda at 780-463-7888. Consumers can also find much more information right on the Drive Wheaton website, found at www.drivewheaton.ca.
