BETHESDA, Md., Dec. 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Marriott International (NASDAQ: MAR) received an amazing number of the coveted Adrian Awards from The Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI). In its 58th year, the annual competition has become the world's most prestigious advertising, public relations and digital marketing recognition in the hospitality industry.

Across Marriott's portfolio, HSMAI awarded seven brands with 15 Adrian Awards, including eight gold awards. The list of recognized brands include several of the company's signature brands:  Marriott Hotels, Courtyard by Marriott, Residence Inn by Marriott, SpringHill Suites by Marriott, TownePlace Suites by Marriott and two luxury and lifestyle brands, namely The Ritz-Carlton and Renaissance Hotels.
