RESTON, Va., Jan. 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Leidos (NYSE: LDOS), a national security, health, and engineering solutions company, today announced the appointment of David Silberstein as service line director for analytics of Leidos Health. His role will focus on offerings for hospitals and health systems.

As part of the analytics team Silberstein will further develop and manage professional offerings in data governance, data management, analytics strategy, and leverage hospital's data to improve outcomes and reduce cost. He will also partner with other business units within Leidos to develop analytic offerings that are specific to the needs of hospitals and health systems. The development of new offerings will include market assessment, partnership strategies, and working closely with clients.  Prior to Leidos Health, Silberstein was a senior partner at Teradata Corporation for the Healthcare Providers practice. He was responsible for business intelligence and data warehouse consulting services, business development, and professional services. He has also held senior level roles in health information technology at companies including Cerner, Accenture, Deloitte Consulting, and Titan Corporation.
