Production Starts At New Grammer Plant In Mississippi

TUPELO, Miss., Jan. 27, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Production of commercial-vehicle suspension seating is underway at Grammer AG's newest North American plant in Tupelo – just 12 months after official groundbreaking ceremonies.

A Grammer spokesperson added that the 120,000-square-foot facility will begin production of center consoles for customers in the NAFTA region in 2016. The company currently has two manufacturing plants in Mexico and maintains sales and engineering centers in Troy, Michigan, and Hudson, Wisconsin.

Based in Amberg, Germany, Grammer is a major supplier of automotive interior components and systems, as well as driver and passenger seating for commercial vehicles.
