BELLEVUE, Wash., March 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- RCO Legal, P.S today announced that Janaya Carter was named Managing Shareholder. The appointment comes as the Bellevue, Washington-based mortgage default and foreclosure-focused law firm continues its strategic growth and expands and grows the executive leadership team.
In her new role, Carter will embark on several new client initiatives across RCO's multiple offices and practice areas. Additionally, Carter will oversee the firm's growth with a focus on recruiting and operations. Carter's new management team includes attorneys Jason Savlov (California), Brett Ryan (Nevada), John Thomas (Oregon), and Brian Sommer, Kimberly Raphaeli, Jim Miersma, Jennifer Aspaas, Teresa Shill and Susana Chambers (Washington).
Carter has served RCO Legal for 13 years, and previously oversaw foreclosure and eviction practices in Washington and Oregon for RCO. Carter was instrumental in creating, training, and executing the expanding judicial practice. Prior to RCO Legal, Carter was a Rule 9 legal intern practicing bankruptcy. She is licensed to practice law in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. When Carter isn't practicing law she is spending time with her husband and two sons in Seattle.
