Defense Intelligence Agency Awards Leidos $25 Million Task Order

RESTON, Va., April 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Leidos (NYSE: LDOS), a national security, health and engineering solutions company was awarded a task order by the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Americas Regional Center (AMRC) to provide all-source intelligence analysis. The single-award, cost-plus fixed-fee contract has a five-year period of performance including base period and all option periods for a total contract value of approximately $25 million if all options are exercised. Work will be performed on Joint Base-Anacostia-Bolling in Washington, DC. The task order was awarded under the DIA Solutions for Intelligence Analysis II contract.

The DIA provides military intelligence to warfighters, defense policymakers, and force planners in the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Intelligence Community (IC), in support of U.S. military planning and operations and weapon systems acquisition. Under the contract, Leidos will assist DIA AMRC in all-source analysis with an emphasis on counter-narcotics trafficking, social network/open-source analysis, and transnational organized crime finance analysis. Leidos will also support the needs of the Defense Critical Infrastructure Program.
