For decades, Ritchie Bros.' multi-day February auction in Florida has been the largest industrial auction in the world each year. More than 10,000 equipment items were sold at the 2015 February Orlando event, which attracted 9,350+ bidders from 81 countries. The 10,000+ items in the February 2015 Orlando auction sold for US$179+ million, including a site record US$66+ million of equipment sold to online buyers. Close to 80% of the equipment was sold to buyers outside of Florida, including 27% sold to buyers outside of the country. The five-day unreserved public auction featured equipment from 875 sellers from across the United States and other countries.
