Known worldwide for its mom approved, hand painted and highly detailed animal figurines that inspire imaginative play, Schleich is launching an array of highly engaging themed play worlds which include four themes: World of Horses, Farm Life, Wild Life and Dinosaurs. Featuring exciting playsets as well as premium figurines, these introductions add to the appeal of the Schleich brand, sold in more than 50 countries and loved by children around the world.

Riding Centre with Rider & Horses from Schleich

Toy Fair new product highlights include:

Riding Centre with Rider & Horses. This brand new, colorful playset with rider, horses, numerous additional accessories and various functions provides countless hours of creative fun. The riding school can be quickly and easily transformed into an open riding arena. And just like a real horse farm, it has troughs, saddle and bridle holders, and movable gates and windows. It can also be decorated with stickers and adorable flowers to create a personalized riding school. Available Fall 2016. $99.99. Girls 5-12.

Large Red Barn with Animals & Accessories. Pets and farm animals large and small will feel right at home on this farm, which includes a barn with a detachable roof that makes it easier to inspect the animal sheds from above, and to feed and play with the inhabitants. Thanks to his movable arms, the farmer can tend to the animals with ease and pad the sheds with fresh hay. Technology is also featured in the new Schleich barn: a cable winch is used to transport heavy fodder, while cows and calves can be groomed with a rotating massage brush. The Large Red Barn with Animals & Accessories is exclusive to North America. Available Fall 2016. $99.99. Ages  3-8.

Big Adventure at the Watering Hole. This playset includes a magnificent oasis at the base of a cascading waterfall, and forms the centerpiece of the new safari play world. The majestic lion surveys his kingdom from atop a rock, watching animals including zebra, meerkats and flamingos at the waterhole. The removable burrow at the edge of the waterhole offers the black mamba protection from the scorching heat, while the millipede hides beneath a rock. Individual elements of the set such as the lifelike and movable plants and rocks, as well as the stream and waterfall, can be individually and creatively arranged. The gnarly tree can also be easily transformed into a climbing frame for the chimpanzee, or rearranged to form a bridge. Available Fall 2016. $99.99. Ages 3-8.

Giant Volcano with T-Rex. Designed to let the imagination soar, this playset with its own T-Rex can serve many play functions: dinosaur jail, rock puzzle, dinosaur trap and more. It features bubbling lava and a mysterious skull on top that when pressed causes stalactites to drop down, barring the entrance to the volcano and preventing intruders – such as a passing Stegosaurus – from entering the secret dwelling.  A magical stone can trigger an explosion, sending large chunks of rocks flying. And the hidden dino trap snaps shut on any invaders that step into it.  Alongside the star of the show – the T-rex, painted in a special new guise – are a Stegosaurus, a snap-together Stegosaurus skeleton, a fun fossil puzzle, a frog, a fish, and foliage for children to set up around the playset. Available Fall 2016. $99.99. Boys ages 5-12.
