Microsemi's newly certified Ethernet switch and software solution enables networking equipment solutions such as Ethernet Access Devices (EAD) that can deliver Ethernet services readily compliant to a global standard. According to market research firm IHS, worldwide EAD revenue reached close to $1 billion in 2015, up 4 percent over 2014, and will hit $1.36 billion in 2020 for a 2015-2020 compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7 percent.
