SunTrust Banks Offers Extended Hours Following Hurricane Matthew

ATLANTA, Oct. 7, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- To support the areas impacted by Hurricane Matthew, SunTrust Banks, Inc. (NYSE: STI) intends to offer extended branch hours in all Florida branch locations on Saturday, October 8, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., barring any curfew or power loss. While Monday, October 10 (Columbus Day) is officially a U.S. bank holiday, SunTrust will open its branches in or near the areas impacted by the storm to ensure clients have access to their funds.

"As such, we are doing everything we can to provide financial access and assistance throughout the holiday weekend."

Consumers can visit any SunTrust branch location to make a donation to the American Red Cross, supporting those impacted by the storm. Mobile and online banking will continue to be available to SunTrust clients as normal.
